Tom Cruise Asks Katie Holmes to Marry

Tom popped the question and confirmed it in a news conference in Paris today.

Katie Holmes, sporting a huge diamond engagement ring, accepted the proposal.

This isn't the first time that Katie Holmes has been engaged. She was engaged to Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson for two years before breaking it off just this past March (2005).

Is Tom Cruise her rebound love?
