For all intensive purposes, Lindsay Lohan has been grounded, sort of.

With her father in jail and her mother unwilling to guide her in a parental sense, the letter she received a few days ago from Morgan Creek Productions CEO James G. Robinson must be the closest thing to a tough-love parent role model she has encountered in a few years.

Lindsay Lohan and her representatives have blamed excessive tardiness and absences from the "Georgia Rules" movie set on illness, exhaustion and other medical issues, to wit Robinson responded that he refuses "... to accept bogus excuses ..." for Lohan's behavior.
