Free at last, free at last – Brit is free of K-Fed at last.

Well folks, Britney has finally seen the light and kicked K-Fed (also being referred to as Fed-EX) to the curb. After a 2 year rocky marriage she sent him a text message saying that she was filing for divorce in the evening of Monday November 6th. Kevin was in Toronto, Canada taping an episode of the MuchMusic documentary show “Exposed”. What a way to end it.

Britney, 24, and Kevin, 28, have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son, Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12. Britney is seeking custody of both children, and guess what, Kevin has countered with requesting sole custody of the kids and allowing her visitation rights. C’mon Kev, get a grip, you can’t even take care of yourself, then again neither can she, but at least she has the bucks. (ta-ching, ta-ching).

"Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals," said Michael Sands, spokesman for Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Oh puuuleeeese, give me a break.

Kevin is requesting spousal support, of course he has to, with the sale of his last record he made what 100 bucks. He says the couple's community assets are "uncertain," though Brit said in her divorce papers there were none to speak of, suggesting the two had a prenuptial agreement in place. And she also requested that each party pay for their own attorney fees. Apparently this is how they will split things. Gifts that cost more than $10,000 will be returned to the person who bought them. Britney will pay Kevin $30,000 a month for half the length of the marriage, meaning Kevin can remain a professional freeloader well into '07.
